// These incredible MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela looks.
// The bright, calm home of Katie Paterson seen on FvF. I love the white walls and warm woods. Also, her project Future Library is mind blowing–a remarkable gesture of faith in the preservation of the past and future. Margaret Atwood is a fitting first contributor.
// Ceramics by Malinda Reich at QUITOKEETO. The entire shop is gorgeous, actually, but especially these one-of-a-kind vessels. The hand-carved patterns and muted glazes are really beautiful.
For the past five or six years I’ve been drawn to dressing simply. Gone are the cringe worthy days of pink shirts and bright yellow eyeshadow–hello, high school–or the bizarre vintage patterns and combinations I experimented with in college. Neutral colors and subtle patterns speak to me in a way that loud or colorful garments don’t anymore. I do love a good statement piece, but that’s not what I usually want to spend my money on. I’ve often toyed with the idea of developing a uniform, but I never take the plunge. Oddly it’s hard to let go even though having too many options is overwhelming to me. This uniform would likely consist of nothing but boxy, asymmetrical silhouettes–my favorite. Basics can make a statement by themselves and I love that. Here’s what’s on my wish list right now.

Creatures of Comfort Tomlin dress // Creatures of Comfort Jill pants
Rick Owens LILIES drawstring shorts // AYR harem shorts
