Cheers to the final days of summer.
I missed the chance to snatch up this Emerson Fry caftan on super sale the other week and David and I are both bummed about it. A gal can still dream. I’m really into subtle pinks and rose shades right now and can’t get over how incredible these GUR rugs are (found via Miss Moss). Worthy of hanging on the wall, for sure.
If I had the closet of my dreams I’d be wearing these beautiful things on a dinner date with David to celebrate my birthday this Friday. I’m excited about turning 28 (one year closer to 30, which for some reason I’m really looking forward to) even if the weather is likely to be gloomy and wet. Time spent with David is my biggest wish of all. There’s something very special about having someone else plan a celebration for you, big or small, and I quite like the idea of being surprised for once. I feel so loved.
Today is the dreariest, wettest, coldest day (Hello, November!). I wish I were wearing this outfit, on my way to someplace fun and sunny, instead of bundled up in a sweatshirt and frumpy jeans, ready to clean the house. Tomorrow, at least, I will see the sun.
