I have a lot to say about turning 30 in less than two weeks, most of which I’m nervous about sharing –though I’m trying to work up the courage. So instead here are a few lovely goods that piqued my interest in recent months–for my closet, body, and home. Weeks ago I requested one specific item from my husband for my 30th birthday and it’s not any of these things, but what can I say, making wishlists is fun.
//Nisolo mules–I’ve been wanting a pair of tan/sand colored mules for years and these, with their modest heel, strike a nice balance between style and practicality.
//This Tie Blazer from Lauren Winter’s recently released SS17 collection is a dream.
//A fragrant candle with well-designed packaging–yes please.
//A natural woven tote for spring and summer day trips I’ve been planning. Coming up is a quick drive to Columbia, SC to hit up our favorite spots and hopefully the zoo.
//I try not to buy any pottery that’s too similar to something I already own, and without a doubt this stunner of a vase by Ashley Hardy is unlike any other in my collection.
//A pink brooch to wear with my spring and summer denim jackets, because offbeat shapes and designs have a place in my wardrobe no matter how old I get.
//Everyday Oil since I’m terrible about moisturizing anything other than my face and at 30 that definitely needs to change.
//Boxy linen tee, because no other shape (or material!) makes me feel more comfortable and at ease.
