Considering I’ve drooled over Brian Paquette’s previous Seattle home on FvF countless times, I can’t believe I missed the condo he designed for himself in this Domino feature from last year.
I’ve always been intrigued by a physical move–a chance to take the same objects and give them new life in a new space, to reinvent. The cool, limited color palette, earthy ceramics, and unique art speak volumes to me. He’s created such intriguing and cozy layers throughout the space that I’m scheming up ways to reimagine my own. Brian’s collection of ceramic wares from some of my favorite artists, like Morgan Peck, Ben Medansky, and Bari Ziperstein, gets me every time. If ever there were a time to have house envy, this would be it. Though his interior design work tends to be more clean and put together than my home, I find his aesthetic incredibly relatable and dripping with personality, even here in a new build. Refined and elegant without being cold and unattainable. I can’t wait to see what Brian does next.

What a nice balance of beauty, restraint, and warmth. His ceramics collection is to die for!
